The Most Wonderful Time of the Year '09

We had such a wonderful Christmas full of family and friends and lots of fun! I wish I had pictures of the kids with Santa but we forgot our camera and I still need to get them from my sister-in-law. Santa visited the Sorensen Family Christmas Party this year. He was one of the best Santas I have ever seen. He was full of all sorts of Santa lore. He told the kids all sorts of fun stories and histories about himself. He even sang songs with them and had a present for each of them. Lexi and Ray were eager to tell him what they wanted but Simon cried until he got his candy cane and then he just wanted Daddy. Oh well, maybe next year he will be more willing to sit with the big guy!
Christmas Eve was so much fun for the kids! We spent the evening at Gma and Gpa Sorensen's, playing games and watching movies. Of course there was lots of yummy food. I love Christmas snacking! We got our annual Christmas Eve pj's. I will have to get a pic of the kids in theirs...they loved them so much that they didn't want to change until halfway through the 26th. That's what holidays are all about right? Staying in our pj's and being cozy! They were excited to go home and sleep in Mom and Dad's bed as they do every Christmas Eve.
Christmas morning started bright and early at 5:30am. The kids were excited to see if Santa delivered and he did! They got just what they wanted. Alexia got her Moxie girl with a car and she got a Gameboy Advanced, not quite the DSi she asked for but she hasn't figured the difference yet! Rayden got a train just like Pop's. In fact, he was worried that Santa might have taken Pop's to give to him. He was very nervous about it until he saw Pop's train again. Simon got a remote control airplane that was hooked to the ceiling with fishing line. He spent the next 45min. flying it and doing nothing else. He wouldn't even look in his stocking!

We spent a wonderful afternoon at Oma and Pop Dixon's house with all of my family. The kids were spoiled rotten and filled extremely full of good food and goodies. Christmas night they had some of their cousins to spend the night. I was a little stressed that they wouldn't want to settle down when it was bed time but all it took was a movie and lots of blankets and they were all out within minutes of each other. What a great way to end the holiday than to spend it with their cousins. I'm so sad that it is all over. Why does it have to go by so fast? Now it is time to start planning for next year!

Winter Recital

Monday night Lexi had her dance recital. She was sooo excited to get to perform both of her dances for all of us. She did great! She was super excited to find out that one of her cute little friends from school was there dancing in a different class. These two are so cute together! I have to admit though that I think the real highlight of Lexi's night was the flowers. She felt so special to get them!

After the recital Rayden was dying to go to my parents' house. Every Christmas season my father puts up his village and trains. Rayden looks forward to it all year. This year my father had a train up that he has never had running before. It is running this year with all 17 cars! Ray was in heaven, especially when Pop let him control the speed. He didn't want to leave and threw a little tantrum. I recorded the trains for him with my camera and he left begrudgingly. He did watch the video over and over and over.....

Anyone Still Out There?

Alright, so I am back! I had to take a break after all of my computer problems! I just didn't even want to look at a computer screen for any reason! But enough is enough. I miss my blog! So here is what we have been up to for the last month.

October is pumpkin month! We don't see much of Dirk since he is out at the pumpkin field a lot. I didn't go out very often this year so I didn't get any fun pics of the kids. Simon did love it though. He loved carrying around the little "pumpuns." Lexi and Ray enjoyed finding perfect carving pumpkins for our house. They think that is the height of the season!

Lexi lost her first tooth! She has been waiting for this tooth to fall out for months! She was getting discouraged because all of her friends were losing teeth but she wasn't. One evening she showed me how loose her tooth was and I told her that Dad could probably pull it out for her. Next thing I know she had gone to the bathroom and pulled it out herself! She was so excited to put her tooth in the tooth fairy pillow.

Our family is now famous....ok not really but our faces are all over the country and Canada. We all got to pose for the Lazyone 2010 catalog. It has already been shipped out and I must admit that my kids are dang cute! I might have to scan in a few pictures from the catalog just to show them off!

October wouldn't be the same without Halloween and all of it's celebrations! I love this holiday! Last year, the day after Halloween, Lexi had a great idea for this year's costume. I didn't expect her to remember it but she couldn't wait! She wanted her, Rayden, and Simon to dress up as Alvin and the Chipmunks. I loved the idea! I thought it would be an easy costume to put together but I can't tell you how hard it was to find the turtlenecks in the right color! Insane, but I finally found them. I always dress up with my kids but we have never been able to get Dirk to dress up with us. The night of our Ward's Halloween carnival he surprised us and showed up with a cowboy! He looked great, but he almost got in trouble with the bishop for wearing real guns. Lucky for him he had taken the cylinders out. What a fun night!

I wish I could say that Halloween was the same, but I was hit pretty hard with the swine flu and I missed the entire day! Dirk doesn't really care for trick or treating so Simon didn't get to go at all. I was disappointed since the kids looked so cute together but Simon didn't seem to mind. He helped Dirk pass out candy at our house instead and he had to get himself a piece each time he gave one out. He knows how to work the system!

I also have been working on a couple of Christmas presents. This year, for Lexi, I am getting her stuff to redo her room. She really wants a purple and blue room. I found this awesome lamp at a yard sale for $5. It had a pink velvet ribbon on it and some pink dangly things but they were falling off so I just took them off.

I went to the craft store and found some blue material on sale and some new trim. I recovered the lamp and now it looks like this! It is as girly as my little girl! I hope she loves it as much as I do. I can't wait to give it to her.

And last but certainly not least, Rayden turned 5 last week. We had to push his birthday party back a little bit since I was sick but last Saturday he had a blast with all of his friends. He had to have another train party this year. Have I ever mentioned how much he loves trains? Well if not, he is OBSESSED! That is all he ever wants. So I made him another train cake and he had all his friends over and we partied!

I think the highlight of the party was Rayden's train set up around his cake and presents. Dirk set it up with his train sound box and all. The kids enjoyed watching it go around and pressing the buttons to make the horn and clickety-clack sounds.

I can't believe my little man is getting so big!

Thankful Thursday

1. A Dash of Spice-As I sit here in my kitchen this evening I am enjoying the wonderful smell of baking apples that is permeating my home. I love spices of all kinds. They add so much flavor and fun. It is like my mouth gets to take a wonderful journey with every bite! To me spices are kind of like life, it wouldn't be any fun without a little spice. So here is to all the spice in life and food alike!

2. Hope-What a powerful 4 letter word!! When everything seems dismal and overbearing I am completely overwhelmed how hope sneeks in and has the power to change everything. I can't imagine living without hope. Hope in people, hope in family, hope in impossible situations, hope in faith, it all is inspiring and wonderful. I wish I could find the words to describe my thankfulness for hope and the part it has played in my life and those around me.

3. Dirk-Enough said. He hasn't done anything extraordinary or anything lately, but I am so grateful for him my life. I can't think of a better eternal partner, them him, for me. He has always put me and the kids first. He works so hard for us and I love him more and more everyday. I can't help but look at him and know that I am the luckiest woman alive!

Taylie's Hope

Awhile back a friend of mine posted a link on her blog about this adorable little girl, Taylie, who is fighting a battle against cancer. I wasn't too surprised to find this link on her blog since her own family is fighting this terrible disease. I clicked the link and had quite the shock. The website had a large picture of Taylie and my heart flipped over as I realized that she looked almost identical to one of my little nieces. An overwhelming desire to help this family overcame me. I am working on an idea but I'm not quite there yet. Another friend updated her blog today with her own way to help. Please click on this link and read about her efforts: ADashofSeason. It will only take a moment of your time and you are out nothing. Seriously, you will feel nothing but good. Here also is the link to Taylie's site: Tayliebug.com

Frog Hunting

Ok so we haven't really done anything really exciting but it is just bugging me that I haven't done a post in so long. I was going through some of our pictures and I found these that I never blogged about.
Back at the end of July we went frog hunting with our neighbors across the street. We went out to their grandparents farm in Trenton. The kids thought this was the coolest thing ever. Rayden got the first catch when a frog jumped right into his net. Lexi was hunting feathers and frogs. She LOVES nature!

I love Rayden's look in this picture. He is such a boy!

Simon didn't catch any frogs but he had fun playing with the net. He kept running after the kids and his Daddy.
We were out way after dark and the kids were excited when we let them bring 3 frogs home. We let them keep them for a few weeks and then we released them into the canal. They didn't really smell too good. The kids loved the entire experience!

Thankful Thursday

1. Wet Wipes-Having little kids, I don't think about the convenience of wet wipes all the time....until I need one and I can't find any! I love how quick they make it to clean a face, hands, or any other mess. When my kids grow up I think I am going to keep on buying them.

2. Spy Games-Simon cracks me up all the time. He loves to play games and his newest one is spy! When I am cooking in the kitchen we walk around like we are stalking some one and even make the cool "doo-da-doo" sound effects. I love his face and how he crouches down to stalk the kitchen. Seriously, this kid is too cute!

3. "Peeking" Mom-I know Rayden is almost 5 and I should try to fix the very few words he says backwards, but it just sounds so darn cute! The other day Dirk asked Ray if they should trade me in for a different mom. Ray asked his dad why they would do that and Dirk told him that maybe they could get a better one. (He was totally joking around.) So then he asked, "Should we keep her or get a new one?" Rayden told him they needed to "Peek" mom. Thanks Ray, I love you too!

Thankful Thursday

1. Late night movies-Nothing is better than putting the kids to bed and curling up with my hubby to watch a movie, just the two of us. I especially love it when we add a big chocolate bar and a tall glass of milk, yum!

2. Music-I love music. I love the way it can change your mood or help clear your mind. If it wasn't for music I wouldn't be able to do half the stuff I do in a day. It helps to keep me focused and on task. I love it's calming influence when life gets stressful and I love teaching my kids all about it.

3. Pillows-A bed doesn't look made without a pillow or two or in my case 6. I love pillows. My kids think they are great to gather in a pile and lay in the middle of. We have pillows all over our house! The other night I fell asleep without my pillow and I missed it, a lot. Such a small comfort that I love having around!

Thankful Thursday

1. Creativity-I struggle with being creative but I love the creativity of those around me. I am truly inspired by all my friends and family who have this talent. They always give me great ideas.

2. Photography-Once again I am a novice but I truly believe that a picture can say 1000 words. I love looking at all the photo blogs out there. I have the bug right now to want to tear my house apart and redecorate it with nothing but pictures. If only I could convince Dirk to buy me the camera that I want....

3. Si Time-This morning both Lexi and Rayden had school. I was able to spend alone time with Simon. After dropping Ray off at preschool we came home and Simon curled up in my lap with a book he brought to me. It was a word book, and we spent the next hour going through it and naming the pictures and then learning the sign language for each one. If this is how mornings are going to go I will be in heaven. It was so fun spending time alone with Simon.

Train Ride

Road trips can be so much fun! We drove to Ely, NV this last weekend with my parents and two of my sisters. It was a long drive but well worth the time spent together. Dirk and I thought it would be fun to take the camper instead of getting a hotel. It was a great decision. The kids loved camping out with Pop and Oma and my mom was able to bring her dog along.

Dirk and I weren't really thinking when we drove past Toole that there was 120 miles of desert ahead of us. About 10-15 miles before Wendover we ran out of gas and had to call ahead to my parents to bring us back a gas can. No worries. It gave the kids a chance to stretch their legs and I took advantage of the moment to snap some pictures.

We went to Ely because it has the oldest running steam engine train. Rayden is a train fanatic and we figured we could take a family trip to appease his love of trains. He was in heaven on Saturday when we got to the train depot. We rode the train through some tunnels and around old mining ghost towns. We even were robbed halfway through the trip! That part scared Lexi a little until she realized it wasn't real. When we were almost back to the station Lexi told me something that made the 6 hour drive completely worth it, "Mom, I will remember this for the rest of my life!" I love making lasting memories with the kids while they are young!

After almost 2 hours riding on a train we all had some smoke in our eyes and soot and ash in our hair but the kids had a sparkle along with the smoke. They were completely enchanted with the trip back in time. It was a lot of fun. We went back to camp where the kids wore themselves out on the playground. Lexi found the confidence to do the monkey bars by herself and wore a couple blisters into her hand. Rayden and Simon ran around until they were exhausted. We ended the day with a good movie in our jammies. The kids were all tuckered out!

Just Messing Around

We went camping this weekend and I had my brother-in-laws camera. I was looking at some of the photos I took and decided to mess around a little bit. The first one is the original picture.

Comparison Shopping

Alright everyone, I promise, this is my one and only "Coupon Shopping Post." I promised a friend I would do this eventually and I think this is the best comparison shop I've had so far.

Back in May I started doing the coupon grocery shopping again. I've done it before and I quit after awhile and now I am up and doing it again. The first picture is from a shopping trip to my local Associated Foods store. I love that store and I felt I had done an awesome job of shopping when I got home from that trip.
The second picture is today's Albertson's trip. If you are interested I did an break down of everything below.

  • LEE'S
Total Cost 87.08
Total amt items= 46
Avg
cost per item= 1.89
  • ALBIES
Total Cost 78.47
Total amt items=63
Avg cost per item=1.24

Now this isn't the best sale I have walked out of Albies for. Usually I can get items for under $1 an item but I liked looking at the larger items that I was able to get using my coupons versus the much smaller items I had bought before clipping coupons. I am still getting started again and I have made a goal of not spending too much time on grocery sales so I am probably not getting all the deals, but that is ok. My food storage is up and my grocery bill is working it's way down. I can't complain.

Thankful Thursday

1. Perseverance-A little over a year ago I decided to start being thankful every week. I didn't realize how hard it was going to be to keep going. Thursdays can be the worst day of the week for me sometimes. I know that is the adversary trying to keep me from looking at the positive side of life and I am sure glad that I have made it a goal to keep going. I feel the small change in my self as I look for the good every day. I love the change I can see in myself and in my family.

2. Back to School Night-This is probably one of the craziest nights of the year! All the parents cram themselves into the little gym and listen to us crazy PTA people talk and talk. I actually missed that part this year but back to school night always gets me adrenaline pumping (for lack of a better term) and ready to go. As much as I love having my kids home I get really excited for school. Our house loves learning!

3. Father's Blessings-Yep, it is that time of year again. I love the night before school. Dirk gets to exercise his priesthood and give each of his children a blessing before school starts. I love hearing the things the spirit whispers to him and how each blessing is so individualized for each child. It is proof to me that Heavenly Father really knows each of us and our needs. I am so grateful for the blessings and the comfort they bring.

Family Photos

It isn't easy finding someone to take pictures for a group of 28 people. Especially when 14 of those people are kids! My MIL really wanted a family shot before Jake and Melese headed back to Canada today. (We miss you guys already!) My friend Mandy agreed to do the pictures and I think they turned out great!

Twin Lakes '09

I was waiting to post about our Twin Lakes trip so that I could get some more pictures from everyone else but I am not sure if that is going to happen so here it goes...

We had a wonderful 3 days at Twin Lakes with our friends the Schwartz's. We decided this year that we would go from Sunday to Wednesday instead of Thursday to Sunday. It was a great decision. The second lake was all ours for pretty much the entire 3 days. The weather was great and the beach was perfect. The kids had so much fun. Lexi is starting to learn to swim and wakeboard and she was very brave jumping out of the boat for both. Rayden was a little more shy about jumping out of the boat but we got him out there eventually. Simon was completely opposite. He wanted to be in the water all the time. Thank goodness for life jackets! Simon analyzed everything everyone was doing behind the boat. You could almost see his mind figuring it all out so he could get out there and do it too. Heaven help us when he is a little older! It was a great vacation and we never regret getting out and spending time as a family!

Thankful Thursday

1. 9 years-I am thankful for the early years with Dirk where we started building our marriage and getting to know one another. I am thankful for the joy and emotions when we had our first child and the added joy that was brought to us when the next 2 children were added. I am thankful for the all the blessings we have received as a family. I am thankful all of the hardships that Dirk and I have faced that have only made our bond stronger. I am so thankful that 9 years ago I said yes to the most wonderful blessing in my life. Last night Dirk asked me if he could have the next 9 years of my life as well. How about the next 90 to eternity instead?

2. Big Sky-Dirk and I were sitting on our deck last night enjoying 4 different things. The first was each others company. The other 3 were the full moon to the east of us, the wonderful lightning show to the west of us and sky full of stars to the north of us. How wonderful that we could sit and enjoy and make another memory.

3. Primary Songs-Nothing can lift my spirits like music. I love my calling in the church as the junior singing chorister. I always pray that I can get the message of the songs across to these young children. It warmed my heart the other day when I heard my 4 year old singing Teach Me To Walk in the Light. A year ago he would throw fits through singing time. I am so glad to have this testament that he is feeling the spirit through music. I am so thankful.

Thankful Thursday

1. Alone Time-The best thing after a hard day is a nice hot bubble bath in my soaker tub. I relish the feeling of all my muscles relaxing and the complete silence that belongs all to me. A good book makes it even better. Such a rare treat but so worth it when I am able to pull it off. Aaaaahhh!

2. Mosquito Spray-When these pesky little bugs are flying all around I am so glad that I zap them with this handy spray. Little itchy bumps all over my children's limbs is not my idea of fun so I love this spray and it's very distinct stench! :)

3. Crossword/Sudoku-I love these puzzles. I love the challenge. I feel like I am doing a mental workout that is at my level. They make me feel grownup and smart, what a great release sometimes from the struggle of dealing with young minds all day. I love my children to death but these puzzles are my escape back to adulthood. Almost every night you can find me in my pj's snuggled in a blanket working on my puzzles. Hmmm...maybe I should try this in the hot tub......

Thankful Thursday

1. Family Time-I love time to reconnect with my husband and kids. 3 days and nights of nothing but family time is heaven. We had a blast together and I wish it never would have ended. Seriously, is there any better way to spend your time than with the ones you love the most?

2. Clubs-Lexi and her friends started a club today. It is called the "Best Friends Forever Club." That right there just makes me smile all over but the list of activities makes me smile and warms my heart. They have to go for bike rides together, have a barbecue with their families, color, and have pb&J sandwiches for snacks. They made a list of everyone who is invited to the club and they made sure to include all friends who weren't at the first meeting. I am very proud to say I made the list! Bring on the BBQ! :)

3. Pioneers-This only seems fitting that I mention these amazing people as tomorrow is Pioneer Day. I once talked in church on this subject and I remember panicking because they wanted me to talk about my pioneers. I didn't have ancestors who walked across the plains so I wasn't sure how to take this subject. I ended up doing all sorts of research on my family and learning a lot. I talked about the pioneers in my family and how they found the church and the hardships in their lives. I learned a lot about them and my love and appreciation is very strong. Tomorrow I will definitely be thinking of them and how their sacrifices differ from the pioneers that commonly celebrated but how those sacrifices made all the difference to my life and my family.

Harry Potter Premiere

I am a Harry Potter fan. I love the books and I love the movies. I have a standing "date" with Dirk's cousin for each premiere. The last couple of times though I think Dirk has gotten a little jealous and decided to "chaperone." He got into it though and even decided to dress up.....as a muggle. :) Actually Dirk loves going just to see all the people who really do dress up.
We went with our normal group of buddies.
Dirk wasn't real excited that I wanted to leave at 8:00 for the theater when the movie didn't start until midnight but he dealt with it. We only had to sit outside for about 20 minutes before they let us into the theater. We got some good seats and were even treated to a double feature. They had the 5th Harry Potter playing before midnight. It was a lot of fun. I remembered my camera this year so I took some picture of our favorite costumed people.

Some of the Weasley familly graced us with their presence.
Dumbledore came back from the dead.
And here is my favorite Death Eater costume. There were other ones but this guy's mask was the best. He kind of freaks ya out when you are in a dark theater!
It was an awesome night. I loved the movie! It was really well done and I will probably be back at the theater again for a second go around. I won't say anything about my favorite/least favorite parts for those who haven't seen it yet but I am sure you will all love it too!

She's Got Skills

Last year Dirk started teaching Lexi how to ride her bike. She was doing pretty good by the time it was too cold to ride. I guess all those months of winter thinking about it and not getting to practice scared her. She hadn't gotten on her bike all summer until last week. She wasn't so sure she could ride it anymore no matter what Dirk and I told her so I went for drastic measures. We bribed her. I know it isn't the best solution but it worked this time. She has been dying to get a new zebra Webkinz and I told her she could get it when she proved to me that she wasn't afraid of her bike anymore. So on Sunday Lexi pulled her bike out of the garage and had her Dad help her out. (Both my kids refuse to let me help them. They don't have much confidence in my 'holding upright' abilities.) Dirk never really had to help her. She was off and he just jogged along beside. Lexi told me later that she didn't know Daddy wasn't helping her until she looked sideways and saw him running. Next she said, "I was doing so good, huh, mom?" She's too cute.

I wish this picture wasn't so blurry but you deal with what you get. All of Lexi's friends were on the side of the road cheering her on, literally. They kept shouting, "Rah rah ree, Go Lexi!" I just love it. Lexi has been on her bike everyday this week. She even rides it across the street to her friends' houses. Monday night she even road her bike with Dad down to Grandma and Grandpa's house. Rayden is seeing how much fun she is having and he is now practicing so he can be just as good. You gotta love the sibling rivalry!

Thankful Thursday

Dark Green Carpet-I had a bunch of neighborhood kids over the other day to fingerpaint. (I know, you can see where this is going already.) They had so much fun with their pictures. They used straws to blow the paint around. While I was upstairs the boys thought it would be great to blow the paint other places as well. I got it off the walls, cabinets and furniture. I love the basement carpet! You can't see paint anywhere, though I know it has to be on the carpet as well. It will just have to wait until I can shampoo the carpets.

Turning something ugly, beautiful-I have a bathroom cabinet in my basement that Dirk built 6 years ago with his brother. It is a really solid cabinet but they only put one coat of clear stain on it and it has become really, really ugly. I've been debating on what to do with it and finally came to a conclusion. I decided to paint it a nice chocolate brown. Dirk was shocked how nice it looked when he saw it. It was the first thing he noticed and I didn't even tell him what I was doing. I love getting results like that! :)

Accomplishment-Lexi learned to ride her bike without training wheels. I love seeing the confidence it has brought her this week. Just one more step to growing up done and it has made her that much better of a person. I hope she finds as much joy in all of her accomplishments as she has in this one.

4th of July '09

Aaahhh...the Fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays! I think it ties with Christmas. We had a great holiday this year. Friday night we had the pleasure of going to watch the Logan fireworks with Dirk's parents and some cousins.

Lexi was in heaven to get spend time with Mady. They don't get to get together too much and Lexi just adores her older cousin. Simon thought Mady was pretty fun too. I love this video of her making him laugh!

Saturday we got up bright and early so we could go to the parade in Lewiston. It was just Dirk, me, and the kids but we had a blast anyway! Simon found a puddle on someone's driveway and played in it for forever! He has the cutest little toes!

We ended up sitting near a friend of Lexi's from school and they played while they waited for the parade to start. Here they are playing Bubble Gum in a Dish...some games never go out of style!

The kids came home loaded with candy. You've got to love the sugar rush on holidays!
Dirk and I hosted a bbq at our house for our families. It was so much fun and the afternoon was nice and overcast so it didn't get too hot outside. Even if had we were prepared with water balloons to cool everyone off. Dirk and I didn't want to do hamburgers and hot dogs again so we decided to make shish kabobs. They were really good....go Dirk!

I'm not sure why but I got a creative bug in me after the parade so I went and bought some supplies and made a few decorations for the serving table. I think they turned out pretty cute and the kids loved it when they opened their firecrackers and found Rolos.

We ended our terrific holiday with our own firework display in the backyard. We had TONS of fountains!
Lexi and Simon just couldn't take anymore and fell asleep on my lap. I'm pretty sure they had a great day though! After Dirk carried the kids to bed we just laid on the lawn and watched the neighbors "oh so illegal fireworks." We had a great view of them. It was the perfect ending to a great holiday!

Quite Creative!

The other day Lexi's cousin called her and wanted to talk on the phone. Lexi wandered to a different room to talk. This is where I found her.....

If you can't tell this is the shelf in my closet. She is one crazy kid! At least it was quiet in there.

Another Great Camping Trip

We love camping and Franklin Basin is one of our favorite spots! A couple weekends ago we headed up for a couple of nights and the kids had a blast. Brett and Britney brought their four wheeler and gave the kids rides on it. They were in heaven. Simon looked so cute with the helmet on. He wasn't sure what to make of it, but rules are rules.

Rayden took his dump truck up and pushed it all over camp. Simon thought that it looked like fun so he climbed on in!
Saturday we went to Bear Lake for the day. I left my camera in the camper so I didn't get any pictures. The kids had a great time for a few hours than Lexi kept asking when we could go shopping. The child loves the stores! The shopping is pretty limited there though. You can't go to Bear Lake without getting a raspberry shake so Lexi was happy in the end. She got to buy something.
I think my favorite part of camping is the fire at night. We all sit around and gab and roast mallows and let the kids poke the fire with sticks. Simon just sat on my lap and stared at the fire until he saw the marshmallows being passed around. I'm not quite sure....but I think we have another smore lover in the family!

It was a great couple of days. I can't wait until we get to go again!
